Private Day Tour to Belfast City

Culture, Conflict and Christianity in the birthplace of Titanic

Today we will head to Northern Ireland and explore the capital city of Belfast.

Departing Dublin, we will stop on the way up to visit the old ruined Abbey at Monasterboice. This hidden gem hosts a magnificent round tower - built as defence against marauding Vikings, and the finest example of a High Celtic Cross that can be seen on the island of Ireland - carved 1000 years ago to teah the native Gaelic people of the Christian religion.

We will then arrive in Belfast, where there will be time to embark on the world famous Black Taxi tour. This tour will take you right into the heart of Loyalist and Republican Belfast, where the infamous 'Troubles' took place - guided by a local who lived through those times.

We will take time for lunch, then head over to the Titanic Quarter, where you can visit the world famous Titanic Museum. Belfast built Titanic. And as the locals say "Sure, it was fine when it left here!"

When you are relaxed, comfortable and happy, we will return down the road to Dublin.
